Need a Spa Day? Be Your Own Beauty Therapist.

Most beauty therapists perform their own beauty treatments. If they can do it, you can do it too!

We recommend starting your at-home treatment after a shower or bath. To prepare, microwave two moist hand towels in preparation for mask removal, as well as cleanser removal (we’ll get to this in a moment). Soak towels in water infused with your favorite essential oil (optional). Note: when microwaving, unroll towels to check the temperature, holding with two fingers on each hand, and give time to air out, as microwaves tend not to heat evenly and may cause scalding in one area and not another. Now you are ready to begin your spa treatment:

Step 1: Gently cleanse your face with your Somme Institute Nourishing Cleanser. Cleanse twice if necessary. Remember, it’s important to thoroughly cleanse your skin before applying the mask!

Step 2: With the first essential oil-infused hand towel, wash off the cleanser and pat your face dry.

Step 3: Apply the Boost gentle warming mask. You can massage it into the skin for a few seconds. Boost is a multi-functional mask; it does not just treat dryness or oiliness, which most masks do. It multi-tasks, by starting the exfoliation process (pumpkin enzymes), warming on contact (increasing circulation, delivering oxygen to cells, opening pores to help drain oil). Kaolin clay absorbs excess oil and removes impurities, hydrating and strengthening the skin barrier (thanks to Vitamin E).

Step 4: Sit back and relax while the mask sets for 7 to 10 minutes.

Step 5: Remove the mask with the second moist towel when ready.

Step 6: Follow with Transport to exfoliate, Serum to treat, firm and lift, and A-Bomb to moisturize and rejuvenate.
