On The Go Travel Essentials with Lara Ramos

Lara Ramos is the writer behind one of our favorite little beauty blogs, the glossarie. She’s always sharing the best beauty products and pretty little items that for us, go right past want and straight into the need category. Today, she shares her travel essentials with us.As a fashion sales rep, I’m always on the go. From regional trade shows to local appointments, it’s planes, trains, automobiles, and many hotels. I love getting to spend time in different cities and these are just a few of the things that keep me in the comforts of home while I’m away.

Brush Protectors, $8 – These mesh sleeves help my makeup brushes to keep their shape and also protect them from harmful bacteria. They’re reusable and they come in all the right sizes.

Makeup Pouch, $33 – Perfect for tucking into seat back pocket, and ombre sparkle? Yes, please!

The Perfect Palette, $36 – With blush, gloss, mascara, five shadows, and two highlighters, I’m not sure if there is anything that this palette can’t do.

Skin Salvation, $85 – My essential skincare routine in TSA compliant sizes.

Lip Balm, $3 – So important for dry plane cabins and hotel rooms, I love this one for its SPF and ability to repair.

Body Wash Caps, $0.80 – Single use capsules in fourteen scents, now why didn’t I think of that?

Silk Pillowcase, $65 – Helps keep the peace by protecting my sensitive skin from harsh hotel detergents and foreign fabrics.
