As the summer sets in, Somme would like to welcome the newest public relations intern, Bria. Bria is an upcoming senior at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Majoring in public relations and minoring in marketing, Bria has developed an undeniable love for PR. She likes to think that she has the “gift of gab!”
Two of Bria’s favorite things to do are writing and planning. Whether its summer trips with her friends or an event with her sorority, she puts her organization skills to the test to plan whatever is next in her agenda book. Bria’s plan-fanatic side came in handy when she decided to study abroad this past semester in Florence, Italy! She got to travel to seven amazing countries and thirteen beautiful cities. Abroad not only gave Bria insight on the world, but she also further developed some talent of her own. As she traveled, she created her blog “Ciao For Now” as her everlasting journal. She blogged her experiences in each place and it created a buzz amongst her family and friends who followed her. Due to Ciao For Now’s success, Bria hopes to be blogging again soon!
Bria’s inner diva has made her totally beauty obsessed. MAC products are her makeup must-haves! Some that are forever in her makeup bag include “Blacktrack” Fluidline eyeliner, “Russian Red” tinted lipglass and “Carbon” eye shadow. With that being said, what girl can stick to the same products forever though, right? So Bria is constantly trying the latest crazes that catch her eye, and it’s even better when she stumbles on beauty products for a budget! As the summer is creeping up on us, Maybelline’s ColorSensational Lipcolor “Fifth Ave Fuchsia” is Bria’s idea of the perfect summer lip. This color is a statement all on its own! Bria’s increasing Essie nail polish collection is borderline out of control…and that is how she likes it! The search for the newest, most season-appropriate color is an everlasting mission.
As Bria gets started in her public relations career outside Quinnipiac, she could not be more excited to be working with the team at Somme Institute this summer. She hopes to gain some insight on the industry and become more in love with the brand than she already is.
